Uganda Cranes goalkeeper Denis Onyango has committed himself to South African Premier Soccer League champions Mamelodi Sundowns for more years.

The top African goalkeeper renewed his contract with the reigning African champions for four more years with prayers to win more accolades at the club.

The African Player of the Year – Based in Africa told supersport.com.

“It shows that the club appreciates the job I am doing for them and I just want to thank the management and coaching staff at Mamelodi Sundowns for giving me another opportunity to work with them for another period. I am looking forward to giving my best for the club that trusts me,” Onyango said.

Onyango played a major role as Sundowns claimed their first ever CAF Champions League trophy after seeing off Egyptian giants Zamalek 3-1 on aggregate.

Sundowns had earlier lifted the Absa Premiership and Telkom Cup with Onyango in the lead pack of players to count for it.
